In Denmark, the Ministry of Health grants official authorization to psychologists who meet the highest standards of training, experience, and professional supervision.
Being a licensed psychologist means that my services can be covered by your professional or private insurance, making therapy more accessible to you.
Your company may cover between 6 and 12 annual sessions through workplace insurance. Ask Human Resources or your manager.
You can purchase health insurance for yourself through your company, and this expense is tax-deductible.
You can take out private health insurance (Tryg, Nordea, Falck, Danmark, PFA) and check what percentage of therapy is covered. One call is all it takes.

Hello, I’m Cristina Montoro
I am a psychologist and integrative psychotherapist, specialized in supporting people who seek to better understand themselves and find balance in all areas of their lives.
My approach combines various therapeutic methodologies, adapting to each person based on their needs and personal process. Throughout my career, I have worked with people going through change, grief, depression, and anxiety. As well as with individuals that face confusion when adapting to new realities — including expats looking for a sense of belonging in a foreign country.
In addition to my professional experience, I am also a mother, which has allowed me to deeply understand the emotional and personal challenges many women face during this stage of life. For this reason, I lead personal growth workshops for mothers, offering a space for support, self-awareness, and guidance for those seeking to reconnect with themselves and develop a support network — while learning tools in order to use this stage as an opportunity for evolution on all levels.
In my practice, I offer a safe space where you can explore your inner world with respect, patience, and without judgment. From there, I help you develop an action plan that aligns your inner reality with your outer world. Health requires coherence and commitment.
In addition to my work in private practice, I deliver training and workshops at embassies, academic institutions, and educational programs, tailoring each session to the needs of the group. Through an integrative and practical approach, I facilitate learning spaces focused on emotional regulation, psychological well-being, integration, and personal and relational development.
